First Legislative Summary of 2016

After a quiet second half of 2015, the new year gets off to a good start with 6 bills in 4 states already!

Two bills in Florida propose to go to Year-Round DST, as well as one bill in Missouri.  Two states -- Michigan and Utah -- propose to stop doing DST.

There's a second bill in Missouri proposing a US constitutional amendment to abolish DST nationwide.  Very interesting!

Legislative Summary – Saturday, March 21, 2015

A comprehensive summary of legislation relating to Daylight Saving Time including 31 bills in 21 states:

Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, Florida, Idaho, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Massachusetts, Mississippi, Missouri, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Dakota, Texas, Utah, and Washington.

Note: Missouri was left off of the list of Year-Round DST states in the summary by legislation type.  And Arkansas House killed their bill Friday afternoon before podcast production started.
